The conference champions are today in the NFL. The first of the two games beginning at 3:00 between the Chiefs and Bengals and the second game at 6:30 between the 49ers and Rams. Sports betters, here is your ticket to get inside information on who is predicted to win, and to get your best shot at making the most money. For the first game, Joe Burrow has been on FIRE. Joe Burrow and the Bengals are going to pull this game off in my mind, and get themselves a ticket to the big game. Kansas City, who have also been on quite the hot streak, are going to fall short of the Super Bowl, and take home another L once again. For game 2 between the 49ers and Rams, it's a no brainer. It doesn't take a genius to realize how lopsided the end result of this game is going to be. The Rams are going to scorch Jimmy G and the 49ers and rip their souls out in a game that's not even going to be close. LA is the no doubter here with a 99% chance of winning the game and going to the Super Bowl. Also, just saying, the only reason San Francisco is even in the game is because Green Bay in the playoffs is just ass and not the same team in the slightest. San Francisco is garbage and is not a playoff contender.
If you're lazy and don't feel like reading the whole paragraph here are the final takes below with score predictions:
Cincinnati Bengals over Kansas City Chiefs with a final score of 49-36
Los Angeles Rams over San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 37-3
With 16 teams still technically having an opportunity to make the playoffs and 3 playoff berths available, I figured we'd run through the big teams in the hunt.
9-7 Teams
Colts, Raiders, Chargers, 49ers
2 playoff berths remain in the AFC and those first 3 teams listed above are all in a fight for 2. Which one won't make it? I'm predicting the Raiders. Without Henry Ruggs III and Jon Gruden, the team just hasn't been the same. The Colts and Chargers have had a very strong season overall and have been somewhat consistent teams. I fully expect them both to claim the spots. In the NFC, the 49ers are lookin' pretty good. None of the other teams are looking too hot right now so that would leave the final spot to San Francisco. Will they claim it? We're just gonna have to wait and see.
Do any other teams even have a small chance?
In the AFC? No. The NFC on the other hand, maybe. The Saints are the only other team with a chance. What are the chances of them actually pulling it off? In my opinion, slim to none. I expect the 49ers to be the winners of that available playoff berth.
Everyone knows, we’re nearing the playoffs in the NFL. It’s week 18 and we already have a good idea of what teams have had a successful season and which ones have disappointed us. With that being said, let’s jump right into the fun and talk about what you came here for!
1. Los Angeles Rams
Widely considered to be the favorite to win the Super Bowl this year. They have a team full of stars and look like a playoff ready team. Go get them Rams!
2. Buffalo Bills
With Josh Allen being the best QB this year, leaving them off the list would be a violation. Though, outside of QB the team is lacking. Josh Allen is gonna have to carry!
3. Kansas City Chiefs
A bit of an oddball, isn’t it? Despite having a not so great regular season, I fully expect Mahomes and the Chiefs to back in business in the playoffs!
4. Green Bay Packers
Ahhh, the team you were waiting for. No, they are not the favorite. In fact, I think the chances of them actually winning are slim to none. Overrated team.
5. Arizona Cardinals
The team got off to a hot start but fell off later in the season. They also lost to Detroit so I’m not feeling too confident here. Not a team I’m gonna put my money on!
*Team in bold italics is projected to win
December 15
Memphis Grizzlies vs. Portland Trail Blazers
Los Angeles Clippers vs. Utah Jazz
Washington Wizards vs. Sacramento Kings
December 16
Detroit Pistons vs. Indiana Pacers
Philadelphia 76ers vs. Brooklyn Nets
New York Knicks vs. Houston Rockets
Washington Wizards vs. Phoenix Suns
At the last trade deadline, the Cubs traded many players that were key parts on the team or 2016 World Series team members. For the coming years, they will need to sign temporary players to make up for what was lost until their prospects can fill in the gaps. Let's jump right in!
Player 1:
Carlos Correa
After trading Javier Baez to the Mets, they will need a new replacement. The only thing preventing this would be Correa's history... cheating.
Player 2:
Freddie Freeman
Man, they are gonna need a BIG replacement after losing Rizzo. Rizzo was a major player for the team and now they have no real first baseman. Wow would Freeman be a good pickup for them.
Player 3:
Kris Bryant
This guy needs to re sign! He was a key player and is so versatile. He can play almost any position which will make him a great use for the team. He's also a former Cub so bonding would be slightly easier for him as it's a familiar place.
